I actually love animalistic designs / designs with animal traits for the characters ( or hell this applies for any fandom ) because creativity makes the world a brighter and better place . Wanna give that gay dilf a deer tail ? Yes diva !! Wanna give that homicidal they / them cat ears ? Go for it ! People gatekeeping peoples designs of characters is stupid . Let people be happy . Art is about creativity and expression . And if your expression of happiness is giving a minimum wage worker bird wings , then who's to stop you ? And there's really no need for people to get so angry about it , like my guy it's not that deep .
