Wait wait. If Stanford hid the journals or in this case his sons Does that mean he knocked them out possibly brutally and put them under some sort of spell to be knocked out until found????

I’ll be honest I’m not up to date on what the current journals theories and headcanons are, but I can tell you that they were originally created to be books that simply had enough magic in them to become human if they chose to be. They were created as the journals were created and would have been put into storage as books not knocked out guys xD This…may have changed since I’ve been gone so batman feel free to add onto this. In original headcanons months ago we had it so Ford didn’t even know the books COULD be human, this played an important role with our first ‘book burning’  (we jinxed it guys)
