aura blackquill and metis cykes are both autistic. metis canonically has trouble expressing her love for her family (and aura) in conventional manners, and instead does so through doing things for them, such as researching to help her daughter manage her own autism symptoms. aura's very very very VERY not good with people and has a hard time imagining how others feel (there's some in-game dialogue that's evidence for the last bit, but i don't have it, sorry!!)

YES I LOVE THIS!!! the way metis is described in game really screams “autistic coded character”, and aura makes a lot of sense as well!!

mod note: what ema is saying, “da chan ich nume lache” is supposed to translate to “i don’t care” in swiss german, whiile “je ne parle pas couramment” is “i’m not fluent” but ngl i could be entirely off base so thats the. intended meaning. anybody swiss, german, or french, if you want to shoot me for butchering your language, totally understandable. no hard feelings if you kill me
