hello baby bears ♡ mod kayla here!

i want to apologize for my inactivity, first off. i've been going through quite a bit, and as you may have heard, i no longer have a caregiver and for a while it's been hard for me to regress myself. however, i feel mostly like myself again and i want to come back! i should be online every day this week because of thanksgiving break. how have you been, baby bears?

unicorn slime!

today’s activity of the day is unicorn slime! i’m really excited for this because i looove slime and i’ve made lots of it! are you ready baby bears? here we go!

here’s what you’ll need:

6 bottles of Elmer’s School Glue (4 oz each)

3 TBSP baking soda, divided

6 TBSP contact solution, divided

Food coloring (blue, green, yellow, purple, pink, red)

Wooden craft sticks (for stirring)

Bowls for mixing

1. Empty a bottle of Elmer’s School Glue to a small bowl. Add ½ TBSP baking soda and stir until combined.

2. Add 1 drop of food coloring to the mixture and stir. You want a light, pastel color, so be sure not to add too much food coloring. We decided to make blue, green, yellow, purple, pink, and orange slime. For the orange, we added 1 drop of red food coloring and 2 drops of yellow, but all other colors required just one drop.

3. Pour in 1 TBSP contact solution and stir. The mixture will start to clump together and pull from the sides. Remove it from the bowl and knead it with your hands until it is no longer sticky and is pliable.

4. If the slime remains sticky, you can sprinkle some more contact solution to the outside of it.

5. Repeat with all of the colors, until you have six separate colors of slime

and here’s the final result!
