A friend has inspired me continuously with Mumscarian, so have a lil hc of them!
Mumbo and Grian have been dating for years. They were together before Grian joined hermitcraft in s6, and it was no surprise when Grian got along with everyone like a house on fire. When the Architects started Sahara, Grian met Scar properly. Of course it was after covering ConCorp in sand, as he'd been trapped by the Vex hybrid when he'd gone back to the scene of the crime. Their business rivalry was Scar's gasoline to Grian's gremlin fire, and they struck it off from there.
It was no surprise when the two ended up having starter bases so close together, and even the most non-observant of Hermits could tell they were flirting constantly. The only person surprised when Scar asked Grian out was Mumbo, but still the mustached man agreed to Scar joining their relationship.

Mumbo did have a feeling that Grian had a thing from Scar. He was surprised that is was Scar to ask Grian out because he was so sure it would have been the other way around. He agreed with Scar joining because he could see just how happy Grian was to have Scar. And a happy Grian makes Mumbo happy.
