Hi! I want to join this roleplay but I have a couple questions. How are the rivalries between the gangs played? (Lost Boys not getting along with Rag Dolls, Crybabies vs. Toy Soldiers, Rag Dolls vicious and distrusting to everyone) Is it seen as a general dislike for one another or a violent hatred? Is it collective hostility or does it vary on an individual basis?

With the Rag Dolls and the Lost Boys, it’s very much on an individual basis - while they’ve been known to be hostile towards each other before, it generally isn’t played out like that these days, beyond being wary of associating with people from the other gang, which would be frowned upon.

As for the Crybabies and the Toy Soldiers - that one's very much on a violent hatred-basis, currently placated by a shaky truce. While the amount of hatred for the Crybabies among the Toy Soldiers varies from individual to individual, the Crybabies as a whole hate the Toy Soldiers.

hi i find this rp really cool but a friend told me that it's kinda hard to be in because once you join everyone in there is kind of like friendly already and used to each other and so you kind of end up an outsider so...?

In my opinion, it’s a case of whether or not you decide to stick it out and see where that takes you. We’re two years down the line, and those of us who have stuck around since the early days obviously know each other really well - but some of our “new kids” aren’t that new anymore, and in the same breath, we’ve got awesome new players who joined just a couple of days ago. We’re friendly among ourselves, and some of us have known each other for literally years - if you join, that’s a fact of life. But we’ll also be friendly to anyone who joins up, and we’ll try our best to get to know them! If you decide that you want to join, you'll be welcomed with open arms. <3

Can someone apply for one of the requested characters even if they've never been in the RP before?

Yes, you can! Contacting whoever requested them is, however, required - after you’ve discussed your app with them, you can officially apply. 

(Sidenote - of the two currently requested characters, the player who requested Laina is currently on hiatus, and will be until August 1st.)
