Hi! I’d like to enter this zine as an artist and I saw its for CMC’s. I have a mystic messenger OC but he’s not the traditional Mc (coordinator) but a Mint Eye OC that I’ve paired with the character Ray/Saeran. Would that be acceptable to submit in the application form? 💙
♡ Yes! Custom MCs often suggest that the MC has a completely different story with the in-game characters! For instance, I have a custom MC named 633 who is the head of cyber security at a company, and ended up encountering 707 as he tried to hack in!
Does... that mean everyone lived at the end? It was all simulation? :eyes:
You are correct! In the end, it was all a simulation and all of the previously dead members of the cast are alive and well outside of the simulation. Things may not be how they remember or understand, but they are alive. That’s as much as you can ask for, right? :) - Mod Tal
hey! :~) do we submit applications through here? it says to submit it through the blog.. but im not sure where ahah :') if u guys are even taking apps right now. i'd just like to join the server until you guys are taking apps for a new season ^.^
Sorry to say but applications have stopped being accept a long long time ago ^^;.. The server will be open to the public soon! Thank you so much for the interest, but for the time being please be patient, an announcement will be made when the server becomes public. Personally, this game is the last of this narrative, but my co-mod lovely may or may not have other plans. Thank you again! Every bit of love is truly heartwarming to me :) - mod tal
Not an ask (you're getting used to this are you?) but I'd like to make an ovation for this whole RP. The story was interesting from start to finish, the sprites are AMAZING and so are the animations. It has to be one of my favorite Dangan RPs I have ever watched. Except the fact that I'm crying non-stop haha. If I were to ask a single thing, it would be if there would be a release of all the sprite portraits, so we can have clear refs for drawing (and meming possibly) ~With love, Konoko
Ah thank you so much!!! I really can’t appreciate enough how much support this campaign has gotten despite everything! It is endlessly heartwarming to receive these kinds of messages and I’m elated to respond to them! Once again, I have to give the biggest round of applause to the whole mod team for all their work. (UNDER THE CUT, because i ended up writing a lot and i think it’s too big of a block of text to include by itself)
I will consider posting the character portraits. I was gonna say that they’re available on the /roster page but i realize that that page had been updated with their deaths. Now that the game is over and you can (presumably) put together that everyone is alive, i might just reupload them there. :) - mod tal
Lovely is my co-mod for all of this, being able to make decisions and host things when i am unable to do it myself and generally being a pillar of support for everything that a roleplay campaign calls for.
Sandy is a submod for the mechanics of this game. He has been an unbelievably valuable asset with his experience and wisdom throughout all of our decisions in the game. Almost hosting the entire B plot (S.T.A.R.S.) on his own, this man is amazing at being able to ties things together for the sake of a story.
Ash, another submod, while largely silent is incredibly reliable and supported the game by keeping up with regular maintenance that this campaign ambitiously called forth.
Ysther, an art mod, I cannot thank you enough for carrying this entire team with your unbelievably amazing compositions and sketches. I don’t know how much you’re willing to admit it, but your skill absolutely dwarfs my own and without you, this game would not have been able to be as visually stunning as we have been able to put together.
Capi, another art mod, has been unbelievably helpful in all aspects even outside of art. While your art is amazing and had been stunning at every corner, your support and insight on our decisions throughout the game have been invaluable and of course it goes without saying that your participation as the mastermind has been wonderful.
Shai, our final art mod, while too shy to offer too many contributions, had been incredibly helpful in everything we expected you to do and more so. She had been a great emotional and motivational support on my end, and i cannot appreciate that enough.
HELLO !!!!!! ur game is absolutely wonderful, ive been showing all my friends, the executions r incredible, and the arguments r literally breathtaking (MOMO AND IVY R MY FAVS POOR IVY BABY) u wrote that chapter so well !! basically all i want to ask was if i could make an edit of despot despair for my instagram (@celestieaa) !!! i just love it so so much and i really have lots of inspo to edit it
Wow! I’m so glad that you’re invested in the story! Thank you so much- we put a lot of effort into it all :’) I will ask my art mods if they feel comfortable with the art being edited. If you can be more specific in what you plan to do for it then that’d be great ^^. If we do allow you to edit, then you must credit the art mods (each credited in the respective posts).
Also! Thanks to Kaz and Capi who write the chapter summaries! They’re the ones who make it possible for people to follow the story on this blog <3 - mod tal
I was just wanting to ask, when it comes to the applications it asks for a physical description of the character. Does it have to be detailed or can it be a pixel sprite? If it has to be detailed is there an easier way to do it?
If you’re asking in the sense of applying for this game, I’m sorry to say that the application process has long passed
However, if you’re asking generally for applications for any game, i highly recommend being as detailed as possible. It’s a common source of stress for artists if there is not a lot of information to work off of a design. After all, if a design element is very significant to the character themself then you don’t want it to be glossed over.
Long descriptions (for me) are less preferred to visual references. The most common way is to use a dollmaker (usually dreamselfy) to craft your characters. Drawing the character yourself is good too, but the best way would probably be to pay an artist to draw a reference for you.
