If you ship bakudeku and you are an abuse survivor/ victim you should not ever feel like you need to out yourself to strangers to justify your interests. It's your choice whether you engage with antis, but please always consider your own mental health before pouring your heart out. Because there's always a chance that these people don't give a fuck about what another human being is saying and will either invalidate and deny your trauma, or tell you that you're just romanticizing your abuse.
And if you're an anti reading this: it is none of your goddamn business what people use to cope. If it helps, it helps, so leave them alone. If there is someone saying that they were abused in their life and that your posts are hurting them, leave them alone. If they ship bakudeku, LEAVE THEM ALONE. You aren't helping the abuse victims you claim you're helping. You're hurting them.
