Are there any particular comics or publishing companies that you like the most? Are those all the independent comic studios and have all their comics been listed? How can they be independent especially Dark Horse, Archie and IDW? Lots of people know them.

There are a ton of small indie publishers we don’t blog all that much about such as Aspen Comics or Vault Comics because there isn’t much content for the smallest publishers in Tumblr and if we made original content, they wouldn’t get all that many notes. That is why our tag page only lists the biggest indie publishers and why we mainly post about them. Our tag page is also not complete: we have only listed some examples/the comics we post the most about. The list would be HUGE if we didn’t leave some out.
We’ve gotten quite a few asks about what we consider as indie comics so please check out our FAQ that answers the question! There are also links to our previous answered asks about this issue.
As for the popularity question: We have excluded some of the most popular comics with an adaption from this blog so we don’t for example reblog comic content of The Walking Dead or Lucifer. There isn’t a clear rule for this, though. I’d imagine if The Wicked + The Divine was turned into a show or movie we wouldn’t stop reblogging about it. This is of course just how I personally see it and we’d have to discuss this with the other admins and members.
