Your Suit Number is an important and often defining aspect within all kingdoms, but within each kingdom some numbers or faces are more impactful then others.I will be going through each Kingdom alphabetically, let see what your number says about you. If you are curious about the placement system with in each country please read “ Suit placement and You”

A/N: Royality will have conditional immortality, they do have the option to give up their status to die if they wish but it seems it varies from kingdom to kingdom.
The Kingdom of Clubs:
It might seem to outsiders of the clubs kingdom that the numbering system doesn’t really matter,since there have been many instances of ‘low ranking’ suits becoming Kings, Queens, Jacks and Aces.
But to make some kind of structure usually those of odd numbers are favored then the even number suits. This also reflects in some bits of culture, giving even numbered flowers would be considered bad luck. Your aristocracy will mostly consist of odd number suits, since they tend to be the luckiest. If you are a low suit that becomes high your mark will change to show it.
Odd Numbers- Are generally considered rather fortunate,the higher the odd number the more prosperous you will become. Typically you will see more odd numbers in villages and cities, it is to stack the luck.
Even Numbers- Are generally considered rather unfortunate, the higher the even number the more sorrow may visit you. this can also effect your livelihood,especially if you live in more rural areas of the kingdom.
Ace- Is the keeper of secrets of the land and of the royal family.They also have a keen connection to the magic of the land but it is not as binding as the king. instead the ace of clubs can give quest to others,and make contracts of magic.
Jack- Can and usually chosen by the queen to be a honorable guardian, a level head, or peace keeper.For clubs the Jack must act as a good friend and or sincere lover.
Queen- the keeper of tuition, knowledge and mental balance. This role is a force to be reckoned with. Will either be gifted with extremely good or bad luck.For the queen of clubs it is also a duty to be in charge of military affairs.
King- Ruler of the various lands in the clubs kingdom, a great sacrifice must be made to hold great magical power. The role of the king is to be a Father to all, to rule with kindness, if a king becomes a tyrant the land will always pick a new King with a challenging quest. The land of clubs will always call the king from low evens and high odds, The King possesses luck in it's entirety.
There are Three magical creatures that can come across that will grant a chance to become any of the face suits. The firebird, The flying mare and the golden fish.
The Kingdom of Diamonds:
This kingdom is one of the oldest and more traditional when it comes to the suit system. The higher the number the higher your rank, there will be exceptions (See The Diamond Queen) but it is rarely done. Aces and 10s are more likely to become apart of the royal court or even have a chance to become king, queen or jack.
King- The role of the king is to rule, their word is law. the duty of a king is oversee the wealth of the most blessed land of all the countries.If the king falls ill or is sad the land might follow.
Queen- The role of the queen is to be a shining example of the people,to rule with kindness and love.The Queen is chosen by thier ability tied to the land of diamonds, (example: one queen was claimed to be able to make straw into gold, the current queen is said to have diamond fall from her tears) The role of queen of diamonds is also a cruel test of will, It has been said that if a queen falls to her vices, she may become as hard as a diamond, never to move.
Jack- Can and usually chosen by the queen to be a honorable guardian, a level head, or peace keeper.
Ace- Is usually a messenger or a soothsayer, they can give new insight into one’s life and problems.
8-10: royal court will consist of 8-10′s they are they highest suite.if a child is born a 8-10 they will immediately be taken to the royal court to be taught in the ways of the diamond court
6-7: while not in in the court, people of these numbers will consist of entrepreneurs, doctors, specialists and artists. They are still within the realms of wealth and prestige.
4-5: would be considered those who work but in the lesser arts. They teach, are entertainers, traders, and etc. most likely will live in cities.
2-3: People of these numbers are farmers or the peasantry. They tend to the rich soil of the kingdom, it is the duty to serve land with a full heart.they will live in the country side.
The Kingdom of Hearts:
While relatively liberal with thier numbers there is a thing with duplicates when it comes to the hearts kingdom. If there is two children born with the same suit usually the one is given more chance for better education and position. There is some superstition with the number 4 especially around the borders of clubs.for the most part numbers are free to do as they please.
Ace- is usually the Royal wedding planner and or matchmaker.they are mostly dealt in parties and events that the hearts kingdom is very fond of.
Jack- Can and usually chosen by the queen to be a honorable guardian, a level head, or peace keeper. Is usually the one who assisted the queen to break the curse.
Queen- is choosen by the king at The Royal Hearts ball. The Queen is a model of beauty, magnetism, affection, and idealism. They will break the curse of the king.
King- The king is chosen by birth, while others might see this as fortunate it rarely is so, the king is born with out the ability to feel love due to a curse.The king of hearts is in charge of personal qualities of honesty and spirituality. They represent a kind-hearted and fair ruler, if they ever reject their call as the king the curse will be placed on a new person.
The Kingdom of Spades:
Queen-The Queen is the head of state and affairs until a king is chosen from the father of time. The queen of spades duty is to reign in peace and efficiency. The queen is usually picked from a 9-10 form the members of the royal court. If a king is not found the queen can rule for a long time.
King- The king of spades is often an anomaly, mostly Because they are extremely rare due to the power they have of time. It can be years before the king if spades is found. The kings usually have a shorter life span then the queens due to the deal they have with time. When one is found they rule absolutely, it’s with tradition that they must make one important change before they leave this mortal plane ( the limit seems to be 100 years)
Jack- Can and is usually chosen by the queen to be a honorable guardian, a level head, or peace keeper.
Ace-You are high ranking and the queens closest companion, possibly act as a guard or lady in waiting.
9-10: the aristocracy, they are given the highest of all education and go to the most prestigious of schools. These are the scientists, the politicians, the thinking’s and innovators of the world.
7- 8 are considered a very lucky numbers to have and are granted to be high class entertainers, movie makers and artists ( See “Spades Entertainers history”)
5-6 middle class is what they are usually referred as, they will most likely live in the cities and towns and have a good education.
2-4 they are the working force, working together will bring great changes. The spades working force have built many monuments and buildings in the name of the kingdom.
