Please help me welcome home Faye, a purple Dollzone Little Snow!
I bought her shortly before the chinese new year in February, after asking Christina of NCS if the purple resin applied to other dolls besides the newly released Dollzone Mia Mia Blue. Sadly it did not, but NCS was told by DZ they had a purple Little Snow in stock. After a bit of back and forth, I accepted the offer and paid a good bit of money for the her.
Her arrival was tainted by many undisclosed issues, such as uneven yellowing and fading, and being on a boy body (Little Snow comes standard on a girl body).
This pic easily showcases the faded head and legs... Turned out he was a 2 year old display model from DZ, and it wasn't disclosed until I prodded NCS again. She worked out a partial refund, and I was able to make her my own finally.
First thing first, was getting rid of the boy parts on the body. Luckily I just had to grab a small rotary tool and sand smooth.
Next up was giving her wings. I had some secondhand Luts wings at home, and I taped some magnets to her back as there isn't enough room on the inside of the chest piece to put the magnets into.
Following that I got impatient and did her faceup without having a wig picked out for her yet. I do want to repaint her sooner than later...
I am happy with her now that she is customized and looks cohesive! She does have new eyes, but I need to take pics of her with them still.
