3D modeling MTT Task..... I.....I...CAN DO IT.........
Here we have it! My final renders of my 3D model of Eclissan. Now, I say final, but that’s just really the final version that I’m turning in for class. I’m definitely going to be going back and continue work over the summer, mainly on really getting a handle on working the fur system along with creating her armor (and since this version of her monk wear is actually missing a piece, I’ll work to create that!).
Overall I’m really really happy with this. I had a lot of fun working on it, and put in a lot of time. I’m so excited to see my character in a 3D view that it’s insane. I probably spent about an average of 4 hours of work on this project every day for like 5 weeks, which comes out to about 140 hours of work. But I never really got tired of working on it, and was excited to get more done as I saw it progress into the final product.
First image is the compilation of renders that I turn in for class, with my own art put shamelessly as the background, (though the version on here had to be downsized a bit, it’s about 2/3rds the size of the real version) then others are the individual renders themselves, jsut so you guys could see them in full size.
Programs used were Maya 2015 for modeling, Mudbox for painting on some of the textures and sculpting, then Xgen for creating the fur and whiskers.
