Not every interaction needs to become a friendship
There’s pressure online to turn every good interaction into something permanent.
Add them. Follow them. Build a streak. Make it meaningful.
But sometimes a session can just be… complete.
You play. You talk. You leave.
No expectation to maintain it. No emotional debt.
That kind of structure is rare in online spaces.
One thing I appreciate about platforms like ePal is that they normalize temporary presence. It doesn’t have to escalate into something bigger.
Not every connection is meant to expand. Some are just meant to exist.
And that’s fine.
