Today I've had this consciousness enriching conversation with by far the most fascinating surfer I've ever hosted. He's literally the epitome of a global travel, he's disparate, intelligent, happy, and most importantly he's conscious. As we dined at a new fav pizza joint of mine in Brooklyn, we devoured a medium sized vegan friendly pizza, to say the least. You could not set a more appropriate setting even if Spielberg directed this particular scene ahha. Not meaning to digress, with the matter at hand, I found it unusual, special and even a disturbed at how analogous we both thought about ourselves in the global context, we shared verbatim views on capitalism, depression, corruption, suppression/ marginalization. But what ultimately struck me the most about the perspective that we share is that ultimately amongst humanity we are a rare breed, he's from Australia and I am a naturalized Haitian-American. And he went on to say "if more people like you and me were to form an [organization or just remove ourselves from the rest of societies meltdown and structured] systems to dehumanize us, we'll be perfectly fine, because we have our education."
A peculiar human to human interaction I had earlier with a brilliant Aussie mate I met on CouchSurfing
