The last Inktober illustration from last year was a portrait of my late Mother. I was not convinced of the result anymore, so I promised myself that I would return to him to do better. In May it was my Father's birthday and as a gift I wanted to make him a portrait of him and my Mother, but neither the first attempt nor the second worked. He wanted one like the one I did during the Inktober, but that better represented the Love of his life. And that's what I tried to do, already from the ink, where he was moderately satisfied. But color was another issue ... To be able to represent Love in a portrait, I have learned that you can only achieve it when you portray the one you love. Fortunately, my Father liked the portrait of my Mother so much that he led it to be framed. I'll take a picture and post it. Inked with Staedler fineliner (numbers 1.2, 0.8, 0.6, 0.4, 0.2 and 0.05). Color with Vallejo liquid watercolors and touch-ups and arrangements with Talens white gouache.
