I wish I could’ve told you, really shown you, how much I appreciated you. Your kindness meant so much, even though you may not have realized it. I know you didn’t always understand my quiet ways, but you still seemed to care even when no one else did sometimes, and I’m sorry we kind of grew apart last year. I’ve honestly missed texting you.

I didn't want to make a big deal out of it, and my best friend and my mom both promised me that they wouldn't do anything for my birthday, but John got me to agree to go to the barn with him and then go to Buffalo Wild Wings, and since that wasn't something we wouldn't do on a normal day I agreed. When we walked into Buffalo Wild Wings, the waitress asked if it was just the two of us, and I tried to say yes. But all of a sudden John's turning around to smile at me with a cheeky little grin and saying "well, actually..." and my friends were sitting in the restaurant and so I sort of whipped around and knocked the hat off of his head. This waiter was walking by and he couldn't believe his eyes. But yeah, that looked pretty bad. :)
