The Modulus 002 synthesiser has appeared in this months edition of Keys Magazine - a 6 page review and a cover photo!
The Modulus 002 recently landed into the hands of Jorg Huttner, a composer/sound designer/recording engineer who has worked on many blockbuster films such as Transformers: Dark of the Moon, The Dark Knight Rises, and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.
The Modulus 002 synth was featured in this months issue of Stuff Magazine, with a badass 80's style photo.
Modulus Music have just released a new video, once again though Sonic State, providing an update on the 002 synths ever-expanding software and sound banks. The video features sound patch demos by sound designer Ben Crosland, as well as demos of the software's latest main features - the Sequencer and the Animator.
Over the moon to find out that Modulus Music has be nominated for two Elektra awards from Electronics Weekly - Design Team of the Year and New Company of the Year!
The Modulus 002 synthesiser has recently been getting some press and exposure in magazines - most notably Future Music and Sound on Sound. Great to see such important publications in the industry are liking what we're doing at Modulus Music!
I haven't posted anything here in a month a half mainly due to being so busy getting the Modulus 002 software up and running for all the early adopters and beta customers.
The response and interest since releasing details about the synthesiser has been incredible, and one of the most exciting things is hearing what people have been doing with it. Here's an ambient/soundscape piece by Bristish electronic band From a Window, described by them as "A little improvisation done with our new Modulus 002. One pass, no overdubs, just a bit of delay. Very much a CS80-inspired sound, programmed by Richard Lacy and Sarah MacDonald."
Plenty other demos have been surfacing by other customers, which you can checkout by having a look at the feed on the Modulus Music Facebook page.
Yesterday, we at Modulus Music released the full details about our upcoming 12 voice polyphonic hybrid synthesiser - Modulus.002. In conjunction with a whole new website, we also released an introductory video that was filmed and produced by Sonic State.
The response has been incredibly positive, and it has been picking up exposure on the likes of Sound on Sound, Create Digital Music, Synthtopia, and Stuff among many others.
Looking forward to getting this out to the world!
