Beautiful. Thank you my friends, and yes the check is in the mail.  ;)  I haven’t done one of these in a while, but I believe it’s the kind words, support from, and friendly chats with friends that combine to make this place special, and each one of you is a magic part of the whole.  Navin and I had a nice unfinished conversation the other day regarding following, The TWC, ETC, and while I don’t necessarily feel like there is a TWC anymore, there definitely is family here, if we’ll but accept it.  Thank you my friends/family for all of the love, and I most certainly do... A loving heart.

This heart of mine pumps life in the form of crimson rivers through miles of treacherous stretches.

It beats more constant than any drum; this heart of mine is relentless.

I drag it through swampy waters and cringe as deceitful kindness leaves gaping gashes and, still, the heart mends.

I curse and cry, beg and ask why this heart of mine won't give me a break; all the while, it whispers we'll make it through.

So, what keeps my heart warm on these cold winter nights?

I could tell you that I wrap it in metaphoric sweaters or light passions of fire to keep it from freezing, but really it's way more simple.

I simply wrap it in ribbons of hope and tie it neatly with bows of love and I do it again each and every day because my heart doesn't give up on me and I refuse to give up on it.

Across the lands and beneath this sky, in the truest of hearts, friendship lies. Night or day, from now 'til forever, souls in sync on life's endeavour.

Across Corinthian columns, carved atop, ancient rhyme. Within the depths of dark fathoms, scattered words, carved sublime. Our pulse together lay beating, a sacred friendship, entwined.

Entwined like the sailor's knot that holds the ship ashore, the ties that bind us are rooted deep in my core. Our communion, a story passed along, like the most ancient of all folklore.

There’s dust that spans-cross great distances, a journey only our words can make. Though blind we see past our visages, through poems our boundaries break.

A word, a line, a novel of boundless depths. We paint the pictures of our lives in black and white text, forever living on, even after life's last breath.

A waltzing wonder waits within, poetic thunder drapes our skin. Together we may never dream, our words bring light, a pure hearts beam.

Poetic tongues dance into the dark of the night, their words, the guiding light to the orchards of fruitful insight, birthing seeds of everlasting harmony.

The solemn hue of autumn finds a shelter for our words. The orange of the sun caressed their centers, poems emerged. Let’s play among the dreamers, bring them hope with every verse. Our syllables entwined, from different corners of our earth.

Our poetry, a sweet melody to lovers' ears, the friendly shoulder that halts flowing tears. These words are the rain in a drought, creating life anew when all else is blue.

Like journeys taken, in weary eyes unshaken, a certain freedom awakened by the written word. A poets treasure, two writers; the distance they share, unmeasured, with grace they place their poems on vessels blue.
