what does being in love fee like for you? (if you’ve ever been in love)

hm so i think it's different for everyone?? like there are obviously similarities but yeah,, for me it's kinda like that person is just my sunshine on a rainy day that creates a rainbow and makes everything colorful and bright and nice again, it feels like they're the best thing that has ?? ever ??? happened to me ???? them smiling and telling me they love me means the absolute world and makes me so incredibly happy. i wanna make them feel as loved as they make me feel. i wanna give back the happiness and joy they give me. they make me feel safe and comfortable, it's like i can be me around them and no matter what they won't judge me. they're perfect in my eyes (even if they don't believe it! i always try to make them believe it but that's hard!! you can't make someone love theirselves so you shouldn't blame yourself if you can't convince them which is a thing i used to do oops). when i see their face or hear their voice i melt inside, my tummy fills with butterflies and i feel all warm inside (sometimes i cry but that's just bc i'm literally dumb). all my writings and songs are about them. when they're gone and i have to miss them, it hurts. it physically hurts. when they're gone they are all i can think about. they're always in my dreams. this is like.. not half as good as i wanted it to be but it's midnight and i'm tired so yknow deal w it i guess 😔😔. i might rewrite this later idk. anyway. i'm gay.
