This dinner scene is still living rent-free in my head, haha! Diana served the food, all the tea and brought the receipts!!! It was a full package and arsenal of weapons, she came prepared!!!

Cane first started talking smack about her cooking and then they all thought they could slut shame her. Diana said uh uh no, I'm that bitch! She spilled all the tea and then some! Baby girl lit the fire and said, I'm gonna watch you all burn!

I was looking shook, Zeke looking shook, Lorenzo looking shook, Monet looking like she wanna bury Diana that second, everyone looking shook like WTF!!!

At this point will Diana kill Monet? The parallel between Ghost waking Tariq up with a gun to his head and Monet choking Diana.

I may have spoken too fast, maybe Diana and Tariq are perfect for each other after all or too alike?

S2E2- Selfless Acts?

The discussion of selfless acts was pretty interesting especially with the point raised about the feeling one gets after doing something good, being our motive, ain't that a little selfish? A part of me has always thought so too. I think Lauren also raised another interesting point that it's not all of those acts we particularly enjoy like a mother risking her life to protect her child. I think that must have resonated with Tariq in his internal battle to let her go and regain some control.

Speaking of control, everyone is trying to gain more control somehow from Tariq to Dru to Diana. I think Diana got herself a good teacher and I can't wait to see what they will do.

Kevin is nasty, ugh! Do your damn job but he is making this whole shit personal like bruh it don't look good on you coupled with the abuse of power.

And I was right there with Mecca, how you gonna come up to my house and be shooting some lame video like how was he even in the drug business in the first place? Lil guap definitely got what he deserved.

Cane, hahahaha, the moment I stopped to think too that who benefits more? I was like, of course it's Cane! I guess being pushed out of the house really pushed him to up his game, I'm kinda proud of him. That was some sleek move right there from the showing off with the beating up of the man last episode to his game this episode.

Monet is so distracted. Monet was just saying she needs more, apparently more just got served on a platter.

Looks like things have blown up for Zeke.

Lauren, girl I just want you to want better cos you deserve.

Hey Mecca, how are you doing Mecca. Okay I think I found me a new man, he is a fine looking specimen and who knew he was a romantic too? So will Monet and Mecca be some power couple? Cos I think they could be something. But at the same time, I'm really interested to know what he is here for.

One more thing, I always enjoy the themes explored and compelling arguments raised in the classes and how he ties up beautifully with the show. They always make me think and I love that.

I'm loving the episodes so far and I'm here for things blowing up and all the heat!
