You’ll get to walk in with him and probably be asked to sit in front with him. . . . Today, we live in a Generation of instant gratification . . One where we want to STAND and be HEARD and not to SIT and LISTEN , where we wanna BE SERVED and not SERVE . . Service. Faithfulness. Apprenticeship . . It ain't sexy. . not a message that Generation Next / Now wanna hear . Joshua was called the "servant of Moses", Elisha was called "the one who poured water on the hands of Elijah" . . It didn't matter what they were called, “servant”, “water pourer” , “their boy” etc what mattered was WHO THEY SERVED. . . WHO YOU SERVE GIVES CREDENCE TO WHO YOU ARE . . Don’t ever be too big to serve. . . Those of us who have been fathered have the responsibility to father others . . Sadly, no one wants to be a son. . . We prefer to call our mentors our colleagues, bros or friends. . Not Fathers . . Fatherhood isn't about AGE, it's about RESULTS . . Think about it, who was Joshua's protege? Who gained his anointing? No one . . Elisha, a faithful son had a Gehazi, who coveted the grace of his mentor before the time. . . Imagine people whispering into Elisha's ears .. Your master will be taken from you. . . You are better than your master . . Even though he had the potential of twice his mentors anointing, he dismissed the chatter, telling them to be silent, walking with his mentor, till Elijah gave him the blessing. . . The blessing doesn't come by association, it comes by SERVICE and SACRIFICE. . . There are many Moses, Joshua's, Elijah's and Elisha's around you . . Don't let familiarity get in the way of seeing them as they really are. . . .
