When you're in a hurry to catch a train, you'll park anywhere? by National Library of Ireland on The Commons Via Flickr: Monkstown in South County Dublin has a fine promenade, with the Irish Sea on the one side and the Dublin to Dun Laoghaire rail line on the other. This poor captain found himself on a lee shore, and was unable to extricate his ship before it was beached. There must surely be some news reports of the event as it obviously attracted attention?
