Shock and "Awe" brooch

Lovely Vintage Sterling Monogram Brooch. The brooch has been designed in a laurel wreath, which encircles an "AWE" in script. The laurel wreath is beautifully detailed. Brooch is unmarked, but likely silver.

Brooch is part of my personal jewelry collection, and is currently for sale! Creativity – Laurel was said to communicate the spirit of prophecy and poetry. In the bible, laurel is an emblem of prosperity and fame. In Christianity it is said to symbolize the resurrection of Christ and the triumph of humanity. It is also the source of the word Baccalaureate and of poet laureate.
