Largest Monolithic Statue Of Nandi In Bharat
The Brihadeeswara Temple, Tanjavur, is one of the most beautiful temples in Bharat. It is also home to one of the largest monolithic statue of Nandi in Bharat. It weighs around 25000 kg, making it one of the heaviest Nandi statues in Bharat. The temple was built by Raja Raja Chola I, a king from the Chola dynasty who ruled between 985 and 1014 CE.
