Subtitles for Phantom of the Paradise

Hello!! I subtitle professionally, and also love doing it for personal projects, but the goal is always to share a message or piece of media to a wider audience.

Phantom of the Paradise has been a very important piece of my life for 16 years, and joining the shiny new Discord server dedicated to the movie has launched me into an appreciation and content-making frenzy, with lovely people that are just as devoted.

One of the products of that is this set of subtitles!! More variations coming soon 👀 But, for now, we have English and Spanish subtitles, with all dialogue and songs subtitled and on-screen text subtitled in Spanish, as well as an English backtranslation of the Latin American Spanish dub, and FN subtitles for that dub (lyrics and non-dubbed on-screen text). No audio descriptors this time.

Video players allow you to see subtitles on top of a video file. In VLC, for example, you open the video, click Subtitle -> Add Subtitle File..., and locate it in your device's files. Then, you can click Subtitle -> Sub Track to switch subtitles or disable them.
