An old worn case for glasses, the material has not been well maintained and is peeling or faded in spots. The singular feather inside is as bright and well maintained as ever though.

Thematic Headcanons - Always Accepting!
🌞 - A day-themed headcanon
[🌒] Astro eye (the right one) is rather sensitive to bright lights, which is one of the many reasons why he prefers a more nocturnal schedule. But in the times he is up and about during the day, he will sometimes pull his hat over his eye or attempt to cover it with a hand when the sunlight through the windows (mainly in the lobby) is especially bright.
The lights in his room are dimmer as a result. Plus he can glow in the dark so external light isn't often needed for him.
🌘 A night-themed headcanon
During the night, outside of dealing with the dreams of Toons, he will sometimes do a bit of cleaning, a bit of tidying up after the others have called it in for a night.
Nothing too big, but loose books get put back in their place, toys get sorted, and the food on the kitchen counters...mostly get eaten (As I've said before, Astro doesn't eat as much as he should due to mental health factors).
While it's done just because, well, it's the right thing to do, he'd be lying if he said it wasn't out of guilt as well. Specifically he feels bad for Tisha. Who would otherwise have to clean it all up the following day. It's the least he can do for her after asking her to clean up his room.

[🌒] During the earlier days of the center, Astro did once want a pet just like Dandy. And even asked Arthur and Delilah if he could have one (after some encouragement from Dandy).
...Delilah shut it down however, cause that meant that if they gave Astro a pet, then they would have to give the other mains pets too. And they were already busy in creating Toons at the time.
Arthur did tell Astro that they might revisit that idea in the future...though it would sadly never come to fruition...
If Astro did have a pet though, it would be a sheep named "Hypnos", after the Greek god of sleep.
For one specific to him and Pebble however...
Astro has a little dog bed in his room specifically for Pebble. It's light blue, soft, and even has a couple pillows. I like to think that during some of Astro's more "bed-rotty" days, Pebble comes in (either by himself via a doggy door or thanks to Dandy.) to try and cheer him up.
Even if it doesn't work, Pebble will lay on the dog bed. Whether he sleeps or not, it's a silent message of "I'm here for you" and "You are not alone". Feels nice to have a little company.

Jess can quote all of Mean Girls by heart though she likes Heathers more.
She, at the behest of Chuck I imagine, carries a taser in her pretty purse along with the brick she was already carrying in there.
Jess is pretty buff even if the muscles don’t show. Gotta be strong for those bigger rocks she digs up! She can’t carry Chuck in a bridal for too long but she can hold her pretty decently.
Her favorite dino is the dilophosaurus , her favorite animal is the ground sloth.
Favorite fossils are ammonites and amber .
Will absolutely devour any sushi or ramen.
Her favorite snack and soda is hot cheetos and cream soda Dr.Pepper
Definitely cried over Rocky in PHM and has a little keychain of him.
Wants one dog, one cat, and one fish once she’s settled into an apartment. She didn’t get to have any pets growing up so Jess really wants a lot of types of pets.

She’s actually quite fond of cozy games, her favorite being farming ones.
Her favorite manga/anime growing up was Sailor Moon. There’s a yearbook somewhere with Nessa decked out in baby's first cosplay for her school sewing club. If you try and show her this photo she will set it on fire-.
While she wasn’t born in Hurricane, she was born in Utah.
Was thrown out by her father the day she turned eighteen and she never looked back. Her feelings on her birthday are complicated.
She’s a vocaloid nerd, her pet lizard as a kid was named Miku.
She can’t really cook well so she tends to live off of ramen and local fast food joints. Also caffeine. Ungodly amounts of caffeine.
Most of her things she watches consists of true crime and really dumb soap operas. Understandably stopped watching true crime after SB 3 star ending.
She has a small tattoo of Laika on her back that she got a week before the nose piercing for her 21st birthday.

If her parents hadn’t forced her into school for ballet, she would have gone for Horticulture, Pharmacognosy , or Phytochemistry . Basically anything plant study.
2. Born and raised in Georgia though her parents come from South Carolina.
3. Her favorite food is chili, white and red. She does however like it rather spicy so she has to make two pots for the sake of Evan and William’s taste buds.
4. Used to go to many a protest in her youth, and threw hands at many a protest in her youth.
5. Her last performance before the accident that damaged her leg was in Swan Lake.
6. She worked to become a librarian after the accident as a way to honor her grandfather. He loved books and had a huge library.
7. Said grandfather on her father’s side was German, thus where her maiden name of Schmidt comes from.
8. Mike gets some of the rage from her, she just got good at burying her own by the time she was in college is all.
9. Her favorite fruit is blueberries though she also likes a good apple.
