“What are you thinking about?”

The question more so was what wasn’t she thinking about.How would the Fire Nation fare during a time of reparations? They had been at war for so long and the prosperity of the nation had been the direct result of that war- or so she had been told. How many merchants and craftsmen would suddenly find their wares unneeded, their skills useless in a time of peace. How would these people feed their families? Where would the soldiers go now that there were no far off battles to keep money in their pockets? Would they beg? Would they resort to lending their strength to criminal pursuits?Was Azula’s loss only temporary? She had never known her to not rise again from any set-back she had experienced- raining fire upon whoever had caused it, figuratively or literally. Ty Lee hoped to remain far from the Fire Nation should that happen. Not that distance would stop Azula from taking her revenge.More importantly…-“Nothing really.” The former acrobat shrugged, “Just that green is a super pretty color, I guess. I haven’t had much opportunity to wear it before.” She waved her hand across the sleeve of her Kyoshi Warrior uniform. Will they find out what an impostor I am?

           “ So, on this island “, Gran slips up again, “ we are here and your enemy is there “, at this point they’re talking more to themself than Katara, seeing as they’re sitting a bit from the riverbank, hunched over the map in their lap. There was a lot they didn’t understand yet ( such as how this world wasn’t an island ) but conflicts with bigger powers hit a bit too close for Gran to not offer their help. “ It’s huge. I’ve never seen anything like it “, and somehow Gran was supposed to find their crew on the way. If they even were here.

The young Avatar found himself meditating after weeks of uncertainty. From everything with Toph’s father to the incident with the water tribes, Aang was looking for guidance once he heard of the unrest in the colonies. There was always the unrest with the differences of the four nations, but this seemed different. 

Benders and nonbenders always seemed to get along, but this time it didn’t seem as easy as other challenges had been as of late. However, he was always glad to be interrupted by a friend.
