I am having a terrible time lately trying to get PWP pings. I’m not sure what it could be, unless it’s because I’m down to the last requests - tho from the list, I’ve still got quite a few to go (and I don’t have 30 projects up yet, only 20 and I made sure that I only have 2 bridges so I could get the last bridge request I’ve been looking for).

I’m doing all the normal tricks - inventory full of tools/flowers, no bells, going diving for 5 minutes, trapping my villagers that I am trying to get pings from so I know where they are, even got my fortune told and put on my lucky item for the day... still not getting PWP pings from ANYONE, not even the villagers I’m not specifically trying to get requests from.  They are all just giving me the usual catchphrase and random question act.

Is this normal or is there something else I can do?  Before I could always at least get one PWP ping a day.  I’ve never had this happen before.

I’ve been going for the zen requests so I have two cranky villagers to try and up my chances, but so far it hasn’t helped.  Should I not have two?

I doubt she needs the signal boost, so I figured I'd have fun with my latest visit to moonycrossing's town of Corsair. I dressed up in a cool outfit, put my butt on many things, including Moony's toilet, and saw lots of things I will apparently pretend I didn't.

I enjoyed visiting Corsair as always and made sure to talk to plenty of villagers, though I still find it a bit difficult to navigate in some places. I imagine it's actually very easy once you know the town's layout, but I don't very well, despite having visited at least three times now. This led to scraping my face against lots of trees and bushes trying to find the path...

Not that that's bad, of course...it just means that I'd need to get used to it if I lived there, and since I don't live there, what's it matter. I was still impressed by the huge variety of patterns used for paths, the huge number of flowers planted around town in very elaborate and deliberate patterns, and the way the house furniture was set up to pack as much personality into every building as possible.

Anyway, it's a fun town! I spent probably half an hour exploring everything, and I'm sure I didn't see it all, ha ha. If the mayor's comment about treasure still refers to a buried chest, I couldn't find it this time around!

1. I own too many coats. Like, I left a coat at a friend's house once and it took me a week to realize it was gone because I had so many other coats that I just figured I'd misplaced it. Actually, I didn't "realize it was gone" so much as I "got a text message from him telling me my coat was there." I'm sure there are people out there who have more coats than I do, but I feel that when I can so easily lose one and not even care, I have too many.

2. There's a scar on the back of my right hand between the first two knuckles from where I tripped and fell on some asphalt and instinctively decided that the best way to break my fall was to punch the ground as hard as I could. It worked in the sense that everything but my hand was unharmed, I guess.

3. I'm legally blind in one eye, so if you ever want to sneak up on me, do it from my right. I might see a vague shape and turn my head, but by then it's too late!! You've got me!!

4. I eat a tomato with my breakfast every day. I once spent several months eating four large apples a day, but now I'm down to just one.

5. In my car's cd player right now is my copy of Starbomb, which I had signed by the band as part of the special pre-order deal. I asked them to get Barry to sign it, too, but that didn't happen and I can't really say I blame them.

I am terrible at these and was really grasping by the end there ("Uh, uh, music??? I guess???"). I'm also 100% sure thomcrossing tagged me in something similar like a week and a half ago and I've lost the post and will need to dig it up later. I won't be tagging anybody; I've tagged lots of people in things like this before, ha ha. I'd feel guilty doing it too often.

Moonycrossing is so awesome. It's like, dude. How can a person have such an amazing personality. Idk man, but seeing them on my dash always cheers me up.
