Completed in 1929, the Kingsley Post Apartments at 809 E. Kingsley is a mix of Art Deco and Spanish/Moorish Revival styles, similar to many examples found in Detroit, most notably in Palmer Park. The architect was Bulgarian-born Ralph S. Gerganoff, based out of Ypsilanti. Gerganoff designed many public buildings in Ypsi and Ann Arbor, most famously the Washtenaw County Courthouse. The Kingsley Post houses many medical students, due to its proximity to nearby hospitals. It offers incredible views of the Huron River. #AnnArbor #WashtenawCounty #ArtDeco #SpanishRevival #MoorishRevival #Modernism #archi_ologie #oldhouselove #casasecasarios #houses_the_world #TheAmericanHome #houseportrait #BrickStory #PureMichigan #PureMittigan #Michiganders #ThisPlaceMatters #MichiganPlacesMatter (at 809 E Kingsley) https://www.instagram.com/p/CkAI0EXjg1A/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
