Alinroad Katiya
Age: 23 (post timeskip)
Height: 5'4
Background: Born into a family of a long line of respected marines, her brother Alinroad Flint being a current Vice Admiral and her father being a 'retired' Vice Admiral (I say in quotations because you know how the WG is.) Katiya, not being interested in the solider life like her brother, instead took to the interest in the lifestyle of the nobility, which the Alinroad family being highly respected by the World Government were considered in the West Blue.
So this is where Wayne's family comes in. Wayne's father, who is also a retired marine Vice Admiral, was the one to get in contact with Katiya's father to marry Marianne to Alinroad Flint. So with Marianne already married off to one Alinroad, why not kill two birds with one stone and get Wayne to marry off Katiya. Wayne of course was completely against it but he found himself completely powerless to say anything against his parents decision. Katiya on first being introduced to Wayne at her brother and his sister's wedding was already head over heels for him and was absolutely riddled with glee with she was told she was to marry him. Wayne on the other hand, felt really uncomfortable with her presence just the look it her eyes and her constant need to reach out and touch him it just felt...creepy. But this was his duty to his family so he forced himself to put up with it.
The noblewoman and the scum of the earth:
Slowly as time moves forward and gets closer and closer to his wedding that he starts to realise Flints corrupted behavior on the island and how everyone seems to be...just fine with the brutal execution of pirates, so he figures if Katiya is going to be his wife, whether he likes it or not, maybe he should ask how she feels about her brother's actions.
And she's perfectly fine with it. Her family has been killing pirates in the name of the Government for years, her further reasoning: that can't be for no reason, so all pirates are no good scum of the world who deserve to get what's coming to them for betraying the World Government. This is the last straw for Wayne.
The tale of the runaway groom:
On the day of the wedding, Wayne really got to thinking. His parents aren't going to change, Marianne will never leave Flint as much as she wants to, and this island will never wash of the amount of blood the Government's allowed to spill. His family has the D. Being on the Government's leash will never allow him to find out what that initial stands for. Being on the Government's leash, he'll never be able to go out and see the rest of the world. He looks himself in the mirror and realizes:
He wants out.
Wayne runs to his room and grabs the very few things he needs, ditching his wedding attire and climbs out the window of the manor and belines for the port, stealing a row boat and heading to sea, where his adventure begins.
The tale of the brokenhearted bride:
Everyone is absolutely terrified to tell Katiya that Wayne completely ditched. As she and her and the Apovitellin family wait in the chapel for the late groom, her mother tries assuring her he just gotten cold feet and probably took a walk around and forgot about the time. She wanted to believe that so much, but finally after hours and hours she knew she'd been abandoned at the altar.
Why would he do this? Weren't they in love?
The hunt for love:
Ex Noble Apovitellin D Wayne had a crew and bounty on his head. With his revoked status marines from all around hunted for him, but the one who wanted him more than anything was Katiya. Using her brother's resources as Vice Admiral, she took charge of a ship and began searching all over the West Blue for him. When she finally found him, he said that he didn't want anything to do with her, his family, or her monster of her brother.
Not understanding why he'd want to be a low scum pirate, Katiya demanded him to get on her ship and come back home and marry her and that she was sick of the thought of those 'heathen creatures' tainting him. Wayne, clearly offended for the comment on his crew, pleads for her to leave and forget about him and find someone else to make her happy.
This doesn't sit well with Katiya.
She simply glares to the crew behind her love and clicks her tongue, turning around and demanding the marines for their heads:
"It'll be the only redemption they'll ever receive before being dragged down to depths of this ocean. For tainting my poor Wayne with the talk of filthy pirates."
The eggs only escape this encounter by the skin of their teeth. But this isn't the only time, again and again throughout the spand of their adventures through the West and eventually through Paradise, for two years does Katiya chase them down in hopes Wayne will change his mind and to kill his crew for 'corrupting' him.
Other notes:
The reason it takes the eggs so long (the entire two year timeskip) to get the New World is because how frequent Katiya's onslaughts are.
Katiya's main weapon of choice is a bazooka.
She is the Psuedo Commander of her ship, with her brother Flint pulling some strings behind the scenes.
Even though she originally didn't want to live the soldier lifestyle, she surprisingly accustomed to it fairly quickly (Mostly because winning back Wayne was her inspiration)
She thinks Wayne left her at the wedding because of his problems with her brother, which yeah is kind of true but she doesn't see the reason why he has a problem with him.
Her timeskip design:
She has a heavy sweet tooth and is known to put an unhealthy amount of sugar in her coffee.
Post timeskip, her overall 'sweet goodie noble girl madly in love' attitude changes to more of being more cold sadistic bitch?
Pre timeskip, her color scheme is opposite of Wayne's (white over black, hers being black over white) Post timeskip it's black and brown (or the occasional grey)
Every marine on her ship is terrified of her and figuratively (sometimes literally) whipped to her every whim, and if they try to go against her, they are either threatened or become acquainted with the end of Flint's sword.
The first member of Wayne's crew she met was Pell, who was minding her own business reading out on deck, and automatically assumed that she was interested in Wayne (not knowing the fact that Pell is a big lesbian)
Her at ten years old:
Wayne's parents actually liked her very much, and this fueled his father's disappointment in him.
Her involvement post timeskip will be more delved looked into, once another character is introduced.
Marcus is looking at you with pleading eyes:
Will you slay heretics with him? 🥺
Nothing to see here, just two blueberries tucked away in a hidden corner of Hera for no other eyes to see 🤭
The wonderful mutual @meriamarie, who you should send love to right now, made this wonderful piece of my oc Marcus (right) with Malum Caedo (left, based on my personal headcanon) and I wanted to share with all of you 🥰
Marcus wants to show you his blueberry patch, say hello to them.
POV: You have stopped and asked Marcus a question.
Better be quick about it, little Baseline.
Marcus has had a bit of a make-over.
You are obligated to compliment him, as he is feeling a bit slay(er of heretics)
Hey i was curious about your profile pic (the two men kissing) and I miss your oc Lemon. How is the marine doing?
Hello! I am very glad you asked. My profile picture is ship art of my Ultramarine oc Marcus Valius who has been subject of my latest oc posting, such as the panty shot, and he is my Second Company Champion :)
The other is Malum Caedo from Boltgun just based on my personal headacanon :) and they're both kissing and in love :)
As for the Limon update, short and simple: very rough at the moment given Guilliman has freed the Lamenters and the rest of the Badab War Chapters from their respective penances and currently hunting after Huron Blackheart to prove themselves. I have no clue when he'll come back (and with all of his limbs in tact) but his admech bf misses him 😔
