📸 Throwback Muscle | 1970 Challenger T/A 🏁 This isn’t just a car—it’s a survivor with a story.
This '70 Challenger T/A was originally part of a matching set, owned by a couple who each wanted their own ride. Hers was this automatic, his was a 4-speed—and yes, we've tracked that one down too 👀
Sold in 1975 to a teenager, it hit the streets hard around Lambert Airport in St. Louis—cammed, headers, Mickey Thompsons, shift kit, drag shocks…the whole deal. It was known locally before vanishing in 1985. People always asked: "Whatever happened to that car?"
Found in 2019 in St. Charles, parked under three covers in a garage for 35 years—hidden away just because of a bad master cylinder. It still had the exact drag setup from the ‘70s.
That same year, a friend got it running again. Dave Wise (ECS) used this exact car to prototype the AAR/T/A exhaust he developed—so yes, this T/A wears the first of its kind.
Lance picked it up summer 2021 and has loved every mile—over 1,000 since then. Still loud. Still mean. Still a legend.

MOPAR people are absolutely insane! Guarantee there are folk that think paying 6k for three two barrel carbs and an intake is reasonable though. I don't care how "numbers matching" they are, you have lost your mind!
