Pictures of George Harrison where he looks like a Vulcan
^He looks like he’s going to nerve pinch someone’s ass
^He looks concerningly like Leonard Nimoy
^He doesn’t look that pissed
^He looks like he’s trying to smile but doesn’t know how
While collecting George Harrison photos this happened:

Issue Number 26, Part 2
We begin with a photo of this little chat between George, Paul and Brian Epstein.
The first section we’re taking a look at is the “Letters from Beatle People.”
The letter we picked out is from Sheila de Boer of Harlow, Essex. It’s slightly troll-ish. She pointed out how the cover of the “Help!” album is the lads creating the word help in semaphore (which means a system of sending messages by holding the arms (or two flags or poles) in certain positions), but that they weren’t actually doing correct semaphore.
Sheila pointed out that the only correct letter was the last one and that what they had actually spelled out was “erase all that has gone before.” She did say that she wasn’t trying to “get at the band, but that she didn’t want them to be “got at.”
From one “know-it-all” to another, Sheila, we know you were just trying to show off your knowledge.
Lovely Paul wrote back saying that “Erase all that has gone before” sounds like a great album name...and it is!
John Lennon was the centerfold in issue 26!
Paul and John in issue 26, from the “Black Pool Night Out Show!”
The “Behind the Spotlight” in this issue takes us back to September of 1963, the peak of the Fab Four’s burdgeoning fame.
At this stage, “She Loves You” was at the top of the British charts and there were other bands trying to pretend they were also from Liverpool, affecting Liverpudlian accents.
The band spent the first half of September doing a different show in a different town each night.
They were all looking forward to their holidays, which started on September 16th.
John was headed to Paris, Paul and Ringo were headed to Greece and George was going the farthest: all the way to Benton, Illinois, to see his sister who married an American and resettled there.
Apparently Paul and Ringo spent their time in Greece very pleasantly, beacause no one recognized them. So, they would drink in little nightclubs and play random gigs with Greek musicians...sounds amazing!
The song of the month was “I Feel Fine,” a Lennon-McCartney number!
Puppy dog Ringo graced the back cover of issue 26.
Look out for part one of the next issue, next week!
