not @nesry-n's anidala post making me actually feel like working on my anidala long fic again
anyway
"I have a partner," Padme whispers, even though they are alone, even though her apartment is unmonitored. My husband, my husband. "I have not been able to tell them," him, "yet, and it feels wrong to tell anyone else. I will step down from the Senate, Sola, just... not yet. I want to leave on my own terms. There is still so much work to do. And yet." Her laugh is a touch too hysterical. "There is a deadline now, and I cannot quite regret it."
i think it's also useful to remember that most people are not finalized projects with perfectly consistent morals and actions, but in fact that we are all figuring out new things all the time, and that oftentimes when someone does something strange or confusing or even sometimes mean, they might just be Trying Something, and it might or might not be working how they intended
reminder that experiencing psychosis and schizo-spectrum symptoms are morally neutral and you’re not a bad person for having those symptoms!
This side character is starting to look a lot like a villian... she's good I swear!
I don’t know how to accept my disabilities. I am disabled, that is factual. But the internalized ableism is hard to go through. It is hard for me to internalize it as an inherent, never-will-change part of me now.
Because if I accept that I’m disabled that means that I am not inherently bad or more of a burden for being disabled. That it’s morally neutral. That I deserve rest no matter what, because I am not an inspiration.
I am a mess and I am disabled—and I’m allowed to be that way— and I don’t need to preform for abled people and push myself to preform to their standard of abilities in order to pretend that I can function normally because they just want to see me as an inspiration.
I have value and worth, that is factual. That is not something that can be changed. I also do not exist for abled people, I am not a zoo exhibit. I am not made for you. I am not made for this society either. My being is hard for you to comprehend for a reason. But maybe, because I’m a human too, I should have the same rights, and have the same access to the world that you do.
Whether I can write an essay, do a 8 mile hike, talk for hours, or am housebound for months, can’t get a job, or can’t do basics math, I still have value. I will always have value. Being disabled does not change that.
oh, you hate me? that's really not my problem bitch. I'll pick your pocket either way
morally neutral gang where you at?
