Modern AU - Poe and his long term partner Morap have their own salon and business isn't going as Poe would have thought... loads of fluff in this one!

This short fic is another gift for my friend @auroralynne who (I think) kind of fell in love with the salon AU. So... here we go! Thanks to @flausengut for being my beta again!!!!

I simply love these portraits. Morap and Meelan Bendar are my favourite brothers and I have @auroralynne to thank for that! She drew them a couple of months (?) ago and after hours of talking about Meelan and his little brother Morap (Poe’s dead boyfriend in my fic The Pilot (ff.net)) I started writing this very short fic Blown Fuse (ff.net) about Morap’s time at the Academy and about him finally meeting Poe and falling in love with the best pilot in the galaxy. The cooperation between auroralynne and me really started kicking off then (her drawing “Facing your Demons” was the beginning of a wonderful friendship xD) and I just LOVE working with her. She’s a great artist, an amazing friend and I’m so lucky to have her working with me on our Unknown Limits project. She and her sister @panda-capuccino are amazing and I love their work. I feel so creepy just liking everything they upload on here. I even started learning Portuguese, because of them and their work.... 

Okay... I think that’s enough rambling for now. I just want to share this awesome drawing with you guys! Morap and Meelan are SO important to me, you have no idea!

“Blue One, was hit! Damn it! Karé, can you hear me?!” That voice! It gave Meelan a start. He knew that voice. How could he possibly forget it. He felt his hands shake and grabbed on tight to the edges of the console, so no one would see. The Colonel turned around to look at him, but was apparently not bothered by what he was hearing. Why would he be? They were losing anyway.

The First Order is collapsing and there's this one pilot who keeps destroying Meelan Bendar's plans over and over again.
