"Mauve!" The boy was having trouble keeping the cat satisfied as he tried to pack his belongings away. She had misbehaved all the way from Ireland to England, and now that they had finally boarded the Hogwarts Express he found that she had gotten even antsier. He had had Mauve for roughly four years now, and she hadn't become more docile with age. She was affectionate but still enjoyed making him chase her around, which was evident as she darted out of the compartment and down the hall. Madoc sighed, but grabbed his broom and the smaller bag he had with him in order to run off after her. Despite the fact that Mauve was massive, due to her status as a purebred Ragdoll and not from overfeeding as Madoc would proudly say, she was able to sidestep feet with relative ease. She passed through the crowded train before ducking into another compartment. 'I've got you now,' Madoc thought as he rounded the corner, dropping his belongings onto the seat as he cornered the cat and finally scooped her up into his arms. It was around this time that the train began moving, and he noticed that he wasn't alone with his feline companion. There was a girl in here with him, and he had seen her in passing before. With Hogwarts having been rebuilt after the battle, he had little to do with the other houses. Things were seemingly returning to normal, or as normal as they could be at a wizarding school, and he was far more interested in Quidditch than making friends outside of Gryffindor. "Hi," he said as he moved to sit down, although he landed on his bag rather than the seat. "I guess we'll be sharing the ride together. I'm pretty sure my old compartment is full by now. Also, sorry about your intruder," he held up Mauve, who looked pleased and also like she wanted to be set down, "she always finds some way to cause trouble." @mordexme
