Are you okay with people making ocs like or inspired by the emorganisms?
Hey of course, humans have been characterizing their inner thoughts for forever, and it's literally fun and free! I'm certainly inspired by what other people have done, and now I get to plug my inspirations, spookygibberish's emotion homonculi, sporesgalaxy's brain bugs, selkra-souza's emotionsonas, and charseraph's emotion monuments!!! And of course these derive from the Inside Out movies, but I'd also like to nudge Disco Elysium and Slay The Princess for their approaches as well (I know people go hard with their custom DE skillsets!)
I think a lot of other artists have said this more eloquently, but my general stance on people being inspired by my stuff- and particularly for something as personal as this- is that you've gotta make it distinctly your own. Like, if you're gonna have a love thing, then try not to just swap around the colors of my design or such, yknow? A lot of my emorganisms are just cut-ups of things I like to doodle or critters that have always fascinated me, like worms and birds, so what things stick in your brain? Is your idea of love a great big bed? What kind of emotion is a triangle to you?
