"i haven't been. i've just been... busy." it was partially true. madelyn- morgan had been spending pretty much all of her time and energy in the lab building her weapon and trying to jog some memories and figure out where the other version of her had hidden that damn crystal that she needed to destroy with said weapon. she had her team, she just needed the last thing. and... yes, she'd been avoiding loki because it just... sucked. he was still himself, but... he wasn't. and he wasn't her dad anymore, technically... he never really was anyway, was he? he'd been better than her actual one though, clearly. "so... yeah, um... sorry. so uh... what's up?"

"oh i did. then i ate them. what? i got hungry. have you seen the images of the reindeer? they're plump as hell. they'll be fine." madelyn shrugged because she actually... hadn't. she'd had a lot on her mind lately and christmas... was almost the last thing on it right now. a shame... considering after halloween, it was her favorite holiday. however, considering she had a weird feeling that something was going to happen before christmas, she couldn't really get herself into the holiday spirit. "besides, i'll pick up some more when i get the ingredients for the christmas cookies i intend on baking for everyones' gifts this year."
