australia: do you have any quirks when speaking?
i don’t think so? i mean it’s hard to say, because i think everyone thinks they sound normal when speaking. i don’t think my brother or i ever really inherited an accent, but my dad had a pretty bad maryland accent his entire life because he grew up around anne arundel tbh. i used to have a problem saying “literally” but idk i guess that’s pretty much it, lol? sometimes when i’m nervous, i stutter a little or like idk i just can’t get the words out right aka mix things up a lot but it’s usually not that bad!
canada: favorite wintertime activity?
i’m boring, but i honestly just enjoy sitting by the fire and watching a movie or reading a book, tbh. if i’m feeling a bit more adventurous, i really like to play with my dogs in the snow! i also love skiing but we don’t really live by any resorts tbh so it’s kind of a special occasion if we get to go ):
cyprus: what hands-on activities do you like (drawing, carving, building, etc.)?
i’ve always really loved art - so i’d have to say painting and coloring are some of my favorite things to do. we go down to the pottery shop downtown a lot and paint premade pieces a lot. i’m not the best artist, but i don’t mind drawing/sketching every now and then if it’s pretty simple! my mom also taught me how to knit when i was about ten, so i’ve kind of always done that off and on - and i just taught myself how to crochet via youtube so holla there’s that as well.
finland: what do you prefer, kindness, sternness, or apathy?
kindness, definitely. i’m pretty hard on myself as it is, so i think sternness and apathy would generally just make things worse for myself. i respond really well to encouragement and positive reinforcement so i think kindness is usually the route i’d want to go!
hungary: who is the person you trust the most?
this is really hard for me, tbqh because honestly it was my dad. he was hands down my best friend and basically the prominent parent figure in my life since i was born. since losing him, i’ve kind of been forced to realize who in my life is really important and is there through all the difficult times.
personally? i trust samantha with my life ♥ through the good times and the bad ones, i’ve been able to lean on you for just about anything. there’s nothing i don’t tell you, and i think our friendship has only strengthened with the secrets we’ve shared. you make me a better person every day, and i’m so blessed to have you in my life, starshine.
macau: what is your favorite festival or celebration?
i really like fall festivals, tbh? i didn’t get the chance to experience oktoberfest when i was in germany, but i’m pretty sure that would hands down be my favorite since beer + germany + singing + dancing is pretty much my ideal scenario. but i did go to the oktoberfest here in md and that was a blast ~ and we also have punkin chunkin in like early november idk if anyone else does that and that’s always a BLAST aka im passed out in the lawn all day, whoops. also music festivals are always amazing!
south italy: what is your favorite part of your personality?
LOL i honestly have no idea bc i feel like a mess 99% of the time. i’d say i really like my passion/drive ? idk if that’s actually a part of your personality, but #yolo. i don’t really tiptoe into anything? it’s usually kind of all or nothing. when i set my mind to something, i power through it as fast as i can. i’ve built an entire rp site in a day, i’ve written a 15 page paper in less than 6 hours, and i’ve lived to tell the tale. when i meet someone i really like, it’s usually love in a matter of weeks. when i’m sad, i’m a fucking mess. sometimes i feel like a giant roller coaster ride tbh. it’s exhausting, but i think it makes me a stronger person.
zimbabwe: who is your favorite character from any folklore?
probably robin hood. it was my favorite disney movie as a kid, and i’ve probably seen that and the fox and the hound more times than i can really count. plus ngl he was my childhood crush, how lAMe i was in love with a fox.
