Hi! I’m back with some more headcanons about Gakuen Babysitters’ little kiddos (because they are quite literally the cutest babies ever) when they reach 1st-year high school. Remember this will be 13-ish years after the manga’s timeline. Hope you enjoy!
Of course, they all join the Babysitters’ Club. There’s a new full-time guy there, as well as new children (who I am gonna go into detail in a future post 😁)
Kirin joins the Drama Club, for obvious reasons. Kumatsuka-sensei still supervises the club, and she makes sure to shut off any rumors of favoritism by demanding even more from her daughter. Kirin fully understands this, and tries her best, sometimes to her own detriment. (That’s also a story for later) Between her academics and the extracurriculars, she’s just amazing.
Taka joins the Baseball Club, also for obvious reasons. He’s not the ace the way his brother was, but contrary to belief, he does not mind that too much. In between fights (which occurs no less), he still idolizes his brother, and tries his best to match him.
Takuma joins the Soccer Club. He’s nothing special, but he’s positive and highly sociable. That and his good-looking face taken after his father earn him the level of fangirls surpassing that of the legendary Yagi Tomoya, but he doesn’t even notice it.
Kazuma joins the Home Economics Club. He’s hardworking, soft, gentle, simply everything you would expect from a shoujo manga. That and his face (of course) also get him his own league of admirers, but unlike his twin, he actually knows he’s liked. Giving flustered rejections, sometimes multiple times a day, become part of his high school life.
Kotarou only joins the Babysitters’ Club. He takes care of people well, and his perceptiveness means that he can understand even the most stubborn toddlers. He’s not a convincing monster (at all) when playing Hero Rangers, but luckily Taka is often there to play the role. Out of all the games in the daycare room, his niche is still reading storybooks.
Kotarou keeps all of the old Teary Panda-chan books in good conditions in the daycare room. The books contains all the fond memories and happiness when the Kashima brothers found a second family at the daycare. And he would want the new children to feel that happiness as well.
This is also getting long already. I want to make something purely about clubs and all. Hope you guys enjoy this! I’ll also post about the high schoolers’ headcanons as well, so stay tuned!
