Weird question but stay with me here , are there any helmets that look hat like? I’m having visions in my mind of this knight and leather daddy concept (his steed is his bike but it also has a horse head in the front ) and I need inspo , can you help?
oh there's plenty! the kettle hat is obviously hat-like and has a bunch of variations, you can go pretty wild with it, these are just some of them
if you want to get a little more into renaissance years the morion helm is also very hat
and then going back you could have a burgonet though it starts having more head coverage (and it has a visor) (but like look at it. it has a brim)
and my last proposition is a (visorless?) sallet which i saw someone say it's "the backwards baseball cap of helmets" once and i can't unsee it
also anon your leather daddy prompt reminded me of an artwork by riot concept artist Oscar Vega of a very similar prompt and you might take inspo from it!

I think the reason Diamant wasn't mad at Ivy the same way Alcryst was is because he blames Morion more than her
The reason Morion was able to be captured was because he charged ahead into battle despite Diamant telling him not to. While he loves him, Diamant has a more honest view of their father than Alcryst does and never hesitated when it came to criticizing him
I think Alcryst's anger had to do with believing Elusia is solely responsible for his death and that Morion did nothing wrong
Meanwhile, Diamant understands that Morion's fate was a consequence of his own actions and can't blame it entirely on Ivy and Elusia
I'd even go further and suggest that Diamant has seen enough of Morion's recklessness that he always feared that he'd get himself killed one day so when it finally happened, he was prepared mentally though still not prepared emotionally

I posted that little prelude so I could have post a little more of Karlach and Tav having their various little domestic things post-avernus between adventures. The first time Tav gets sick, Karlach takes it *very* hard because of what happened with her mother, spesifically. Fortunately she has some of Tav's capable extended family members while she recovers.
Flu (5336 words) by QuietPinions Chapters: 1/1 Fandom: Baldur's Gate (Video Games) Rating: General Audiences Warnings: No Archive Warnings Apply Relationships: Karlach/Tav (Baldur's Gate) Characters: Karlach (Baldur's Gate), Tav (Baldur's Gate) Additional Tags: Named Tav (Baldur's Gate), Female Tav (Baldur's Gate), Tiefling Tav (Baldur's Gate), Monk Tav (Baldur's Gate), Illnesses, Fluff, Hurt/Comfort, Cuddling & Snuggling, Sleep, Domestic Fluff, Caretaking, Dungeons & Dragons References, Location: Faerûn (Dungeons & Dragons), Family, Family Fluff Summary: Tav gets sick while she and Karlach are in Baulder’s Gate between adventures (well after game events and after Avernus but before they're married), and she’s laid up at her aunt, Marian’s place for a little. Karlach is fretful but Tav’s cousin, Morion helps take care of her worries. Some caretaking comfort where it's Karlach who needs to look after Tav for a bit, but thankfully they're both somewhere safe and familiar.
Also - Here's some more on Marian, Tav's aunt on her mother's side who also lives in Baulder's Gate, and her son Morion (Tav's cousin), who is Tav's age and grew up with her as an infant and child before she entered the monastery.
Marian is three years Anarene (Tav's mother's) senior, sadly Anna passed not long after her husband, Drannud's, death due to an incurable illness (it was cancer diagnosed as dropsy) for complicated reasons that aren't wholly clear (grief, stress, vulnerability to minor illness due to as much despite her sister's care.) Marian and Aaraere have three other sisters; Odhnue (living), Dyfri (living), and Irine (deceased), Marian is the eldest of the bunch. Anarene's marriage into the Felix family brought the whole branch into the clan, and Owl, the patriarch of the Felix Family still welcomes all it's members to family gathering and events despite Drannud's untimely death, the families are now completely and happily interlinked.

Hello!! I was looking at the Elyos dragons and was wondering if you have any thought on the colour or design thoughts for the royals parents?Eve, Morion, Hyacinth and Seforia👀
I sure do!! Morion is a slightly less saturated red, but otherwise he looks exactly like Diamant! The same goes for Ève and Alfred, though Ève has some pink on her. I also feel like she's unusually tall lol
I love the idea that Elusian RainWing colors are darker and more washed out, and so Hyacinth has a lot of grey! Ivy shares his darker colors and plant-ish markings, but Hortensia (and Rosado) are maybe the only exceptions to the dark Elusian dragon rule.
The entire Solm royal family is ridiculously gorgeous btw, and Seforia is one of the native SandWings, who are usually orange or brown. Her partner was a RainWing!
