Kramer is the kind of man that doesn't really look any age in particular but is at MINIMUM 40, I'd say he's probably like 55ish. Old enough to remember a time before Die Methode, young enough to have gotten passionate about the cause as an up and coming journalist

My crack theory is that he isn't married and doesn't have kids, if we follow canon however his kids are rather young if they're that excited for him to come home. Famous men having kids late isn't that unheard of so I think that's fine
