Drinking green tea on empty stomach is not recommended because of the high contents of catechins may produce bad effects on liver. So it is better to drink the green tea between meals or two hour after the meal so that it does not cause affect absorption of food.
Over the period of time different researches have proved that green tea works as a fat burning agent. Some scientist believes that 300mg to 700mg of EGCG if taken on daily basis will yield best results especially in weight loss. Green tea makes significant impact on your body if taken on regular basis.
Green tea is full of nutrients and chemical compounds that release positive health benefits to body. There are multiple researches which show that people who drink green tea regularly are less prone to get affected by cancer as compared to those who don’t use it. Most common type of cancer in men and women are prostate and breast cancer respectively and green tea helps to protect against both of them.

Three cups per day of green tea has been proved to be beneficial in reducing the chances of pancreatic cancer. Diabetes was also reported to occur less in people taking more than five cup a day. One to three cups of green tea were found to reduce the risk of stroke and heart attack.
