Yoo I've been thinking about that shirt and kinda realised it might be interpreted vertically rather than horizontally? Like, you have jack and reaper, hanzo and genji, and tracer and window, who are all enemy pairs. At least, I hope this is how it's meant to be! Hanzo joining talon would be a Bad Time that I do not wish to happen.
Well, the problem is that the other enemy pairs are also Overwatch vs. Talon pairs, which sets a disturbing precedent!
It would also just be super sad if Hanzo and Genji were still enemies in Blizzard’s eyes! Hopefully it’s a reference to their conflict in the past rather than in the present, although most of their voice lines in-game are rather antagonistic...it’s a relief to hear the “Who would Father be more disappointed by?” convo after all the vitriol that usually passes between them...
I’m about 70% sure that the shirt is just for aesthetics more than anything, but that last 30% is awfully hard to avoid...I just want Hanzo and Genji to reconcile and for Hanzo to find a good, positive place for himself in the world.
