A piece of interactions between Kuai Liang (KL) and Giri.
◆◆This happens after Mk11 - where she returns to the Lin Kuei (LK) to aid KL dealing with what's left of his clan, as a way to return the favour of him allowing her to take shelter in the LK during her time of recovery - after Frost severely incapacitated her during Kotal Kahn's Earthrealm invasion in MKX as Giri was one of his enforcers.
◆◆MKx: She was left in Dead Woods to die under a hill with both femurs broken as Frost believed hypothermia or the wolves would take care of the rest. Fortunately, she spotted a nearby abandoned bear burrow and pulled herself to it. Later on she was rescued by a LK's healer - Rowan (another OC of mine) ,who secretly tended to her injuries in fear of any notices to his clan would mean further trouble for him- this later on became unfold and as they were brought to KL for interrogation and judgement, he allowed her to remain under Rowan's authority and to return to Outworld immediately after full recovery. Nonetheless, after many months with no reach out from Outworld, her ties with the Kahn and realm faltered, she later on asked to be accepted as a member of the LK but was rejected by KL - as he believed LK could only rely on its own natives - Earthrealmers. She remained in LK as Rowan's assistant,nonetheless.
◆◆ Mk11: After Frost's alliance with Kronika, the cryomancer led a massacre on her LK clanmates. Giri survived the assault and took shelter in the woods before being confronted by KL - who reprimanded her for cowardice which resulted in Rowan's death. She didn't deny the accusation, and chose to leave for Out world with a promise of coming back should there be any need for aid - to which KL rejected.
