John is still not sure what he thinks of Bella. He likes her well enough, and the little they’ve interacted has come off positively. But at the same time she is a hugely powerful entity being Death, and he is still wary of all of those, no matter how he might act. He will always feel some gratitude for her care of his brother, much like he does with Jade.

pride pretty much adores bella. she really enjoys her company, and wishes she would actually talk to her more. she doesn’t want to actually show that affection, though, so she tries to play it cool.
