you can tell morty doesn't have any joy in his life based on the fact he didn't name his clinic "Practice Practice" or even just "Medical Practice"

Practice Practice is a hilarious name and way funnier than the Practice Medical Clinic actually. I wish I had thought of that but tbf it's not really in character for him to name something silly (he's actually very boring, despite being charming in his social demeanor)

Are we able to figure out Mortimers allotpun from what we have now, or do we need to know his middle name too?

When you know his nickname that the characters call him in-comic (that I purposefully didn't include), you probably will know his allotpun just from how it sounds.

What’re the Practices like?

They like helping their patients at the clinic and prioritize their work a lot, but some think they have some marital issues. It's unclear what they have to disagree on, though.... It's mostly gossip and rumors the town that suggest these problems between them, but naturally, being such a small town leads to a lot of gossip in Ratzville.
