Joonie wasn’t going to be blamed for this, nor would he take the responsibility for it, no matter how much the ache in his chest told him to. Maybe he had been the one who overreacted. Maybe he should have had more trust in Namil. Maybe he shouldn’t have gotten so upset when he saw his boyfriend - ex boyfriend, talking with another guy just a little bit too close for comfort. Maybe he shouldn’t have let the alcohol in his system control his thoughts and the words that spewed from his mouth. He’d said so many things, so many hurtful things. He could see how each word affected Namil. The emotions were clear as day on the other male’s face while he yelled at him. The look on his face when he told him that he didn’t want to see him ever again will forever be engrained on the insides of his eyelids.
He paced outside of the other’s apartment, waiting for him to arrive. He had his black car waiting outside, his driver in the front seat and security waiting by the backdoor. He knew that his ex would know that he was here as soon as he arrived, it would be a little obvious, but Joonie didn’t care. Namil had to come home sometime, and when he did, the idol would be standing there waiting for him. More like sitting there waiting for him, because he had gotten tired of standing about an hour and a half before. He finally heard footsteps approaching and he looked up, seeing the face he had come to love and cherish so much. He opened his mouth to speak, but couldn’t say anything other than, “Hi.”
