My favorite game turns 20 this year, and I'm very happy to see that it never got old with such stunning artwork and, uh, being an awesome game in general!

Replayed Cave Story for a 16th time in my life, and honestly I can't comprehend how replayable this game is.

Despite of the genuine unorthodoxy of the physics and movement, the game gives some space to master it and rarely feels unfair. Unusual and floaty? Yes, but it never gets to the point when it feels like the only thing that can defend your life is RNG, which was a pretty common thing in platformers then and is now.

More than that, every boss and enemy has an effective weapon against it, as well as a tricky strategy to cheese it in some way, which spawns the reason why I play it, like, for the 16th time.

Cave Story is too close to the quality of old videogames made by Nintendo, despite being made by just one guy. He knew his craft well.

That's why I like this game so much.

Just watched "Брат 2" with my fellas.

Well, the thing is... The whole movie was set up in America and there was a certain club scene with a loud, a bit muffled, oddly familiar song playing.

Oddly familiar, perhaps, because I listen to these a lot...

Catched this one on the flight, and of course it turned out to be a midwest emo band. Fucking midwest emo in a postsoviet russian movie.

INSANE. Also the song has that undeniable vibe, just take a listen.

Despite of CLEARLY being audible in the scene, it never released on "Брат 2" OST CDs alongside some ukrainian music, aside from never releasing on any streaming platforms. Yet, the whole album by Sleeping For Sunrise can be found in the random places of the web, which is pretty odd. :(

Also, I must say that during a huge chunk of a film Danila wears that midwest emo-ass sweater which I appreciate.
