The Floriographer’s Tarot Challenge, Day 11

Moschatel (Adoxa moschatellina), carries the floriographic meaning weak, but winning.

Fun fact: These plants are sometimes called five-faced bishops because of the way five flowers bunch at the end of each stem.

Day 21 A moschatel, one of my favorite flowers. In flower language it means "weak but winning". A good motto for depression, I think.

townhall clock 1 par Tom Via Flickr : Townhall Clock or Moschatel (Adoxa moschatellina) is native to County Durham and according to Graham (1988) is "Frequent but sparse in Woodland and on shady verges and hedgebanks. Well distributed in woodland on the Coal Measures and along the wooded banks of the Wear, Tees and Derwent and their tributaries; virtually absent elsewhere". This was found on the banks of the Twizell Burn, Craghead.
