just watched the S1 Ep 46-47 The Traitor pts 1 & 2 and i reallllyyy liked it and i have some thoughts
The first half was REALLY good and i really like the idea of a GI Joe member feeling jaded and abandoning them for Cobra. I kind of wish Dusty had swapped permanently rather than it being a triple cross. That would be super interesting to explore
Cobra GENUINELY is somehow a much better place to work and that's so funny to me. The Joes are an elite secretive military team and they don't make enough to cover healthcare costs for their family. Shipwreck is surprised to see that Cobra members get medical plans! I think the Joes don't get ANY of that.
Cobra members are unionized, have Medical, have Rest and Relaxation centers that get plenty of use, have the opportunity to collect unemployment, and a boss who goes with them on the battlefield.
Sure you could get put in a piranha pit but no work place is perfect afdsgkdjfdf
Cool plan and all Duke to have Dusty fake betray the Joes but also he and his mom WERE drowning in medical debt up until this point. So that's still.....not good. lol
Overall these were a really fun pair of episodes that had a lot of interesting ideas and Dusty was fun to explore. Cobra Commander was also especially intimidating in these episodes! There were also some really nice shot compositions!
